We at AdventureServe believe in and are committed to the growth of people through confrontational experiences with God, self, others, and nature. Each summer we assemble a diverse community of Christian Leaders to be equipped with life changing skills, and deployed to carry out the ASM mission. As Summer Staff, you will be challenged to put your faith in action, while leading and encouraging others to do the same. Staff life is a unique combination of fun and hard work that could quite possibly result in the best summer of your life. If you are looking for a summer job like no other, consider joining the AdventureServe team. 

We are looking for self-motivated, hardworking, adventure seeking Christian Leaders to join the AdventureServe team this summer. Summer staff must be at least 18 years of age, and have a valid driver’s license. Anyone serving on the AdventureServe team needs to be teachable, reliable, and committed. All applicants must have a current driver’s license

and be at least 18 years of age. All staff must be

first aid and CPR certified and wilderness staff must be certified in lifeguard and wilderness first aid. All certifications are provided as part of staff training (minimal fees apply).


During the summer, you will have lodging, food, and transportation to and from AdventureServe activities.


Support Staff/managers will be given a week long vacation.

If you require specific days for these vacations, arrangements MUST be discussed and made with the Program Director prior to hiring. Throughout the summer you will be off Saturday afternoons until Sunday mornings.


Trip Leaders - $800/4weeks (Half given by ASM, and Half will be raised on your own)

Support Staff/Managers- $3000/11 weeks 

(Half given by ASM, and Half will be raised on your own)

  4. When the Program Director receives your application and references, they will call you to set up a time for an interview.

  5. You will have a telephone, skype, or face-to-face interview.

  6. The Program Director will either offer you or not offer you a position and wait for your acceptance or denial. We fill positions on a first-come, first-serve basis. As soon as you commit to coming, we will reserve a place for you on our summer staff.

Home Repair Trip Leaders-(July 9-15)

Summer Staff Positions 

There are two types of summer staff at AdventureServe: Trip Leaders and Support Staff (Managers). Trip Leaders work directly with groups to guide and facilitate trips out in the field (there are always at least two trip leaders per trip). Support Staff (Managers) work directly with Group Leaders and Trip Leaders to coordinate and plan trips from basecamp. Trip Leaders and Support Staff are designated for the summer to a specific program (Home Repair, Wilderness, Mystery Trip) based on their unique skill set and personal interests.
