Hello 2021!

As we transition into the changes of 2021, AdventureServe staff are moving into new seasons as well. Our Program Director, Jenna Walker Brock, is stepping into the next chapter of her life and leaving AdventureServe Ministries. We are so, so thankful for her and all the work she has done for our ministry. She has played many roles within our organization, beginning as a summer Trip Leader. She has added multiple program designs, developed spiritual curriculum, and trained countless staff members. She has stayed committed to our mission through the geographical changes of our base operations, leadership transitions and re-branding initiatives. We will miss Jenna and pray for God's abundant blessings over her and her family in this next season!

Brette Elliott has been our Administrative Manager for two years, handling the many internal logistics of our ministry. Brette was perfect for the role as she applied the financial knowledge she was gaining as an Accounting Major. She is now a graduate student and has accepted a full-time position in the finance department at Asbury University! She will also be getting married this spring to past-staffer, Kaleb Shipman! We will miss seeing her regularly, yet we celebrate her as she continues in God’s will.

Anna Wolfenberger (or as many of you might know her, “AT”) and her husband Will are moving to Virginia where Will has a blacksmithing job specializing in beautiful home features! Anna “AT”, has served for 6 years in multiple roles including trip leader, program manager, and hospitality manager. We will miss her compassionate heart and dedicated service.

Zea Miller is our new Administrative Assistant! Zea is from Marion, IN where she attended high school and college. Currently, she is attending Asbury Theological Seminary and is in the Masters of Divinity program. Zea enjoys developing relationships with people and hearing about how God has worked in their lives. “I love doing ministry because I feel like I am always encouraged and challenged when I am able to experience how God is working and know more of who He is by being in relationship with other people.” Some fun facts about Zea are that her name is the scientific name for corn, she played soccer in college and enjoys hiking, hammocking, and drinking kombucha, and she can speak (some) Mandarin Chinese! Welcome Zea, we are so excited to have you join our team!
